Dr Justin Sauer   BSc MBBS FRCPsych

Justin Sauer is a consultant psychiatrist working in independent practice and in the NHS.  He has held a number of senior positions including clinical director.

Dr Sauer has been a consultant psychiatrist at the Maudsley Hospital and honorary lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry since 2006. He trained at the Maudsley where he has been since 1999 and has extensive experience in treating a wide range of conditions affecting people 18 years of age and over, including memory disorders.

Dr Sauer is regularly invited to lecture and teach on psychiatry. He has a number of peer reviewed publications, has written three books on psychiatry and is a member of the Society of Authors. He is a regular reviewer of articles for several international peer reviewed journals and is an examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is entered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register in both General Adult and Old Age psychiatry.

He was voted an NHS hero for his work with his patients and colleagues in 2012.

Dr Sauer has been featured in a number of media interviews including Stylist magazine in 2015

Dr Sauer was a finalist for a BUPA UK award in 2016

Dr Sauer has worked with a number of CEOs and industry leaders and is available for professional mentoring on request.
